How about those Americans? The USA women's football team showed their class again, beating Colombia three nil at Hampden Park.

Here they are celebrating the first goal by Megan Rapinoe, the wee left winger who's the player of the tournament for me so far. They are holding up a happy birthday message.

We had a great time again, chatting to folks, spotting great stars and stripes outfits, smiling at the Canadians (so nice, but did they know their team was playing in Coventry?).

Chilly though. We resisted the 'meaty drink' and had hot chocs all round at half time.
