One is 4 years old and about to start her first day at school, the other is 18 years old, sat her last A level exam today and has therefore just had her last day at school.

One has blondish hair scraped back into bunches, the other has long, brown flowing locks.

One is too young to do much by herself, the other exercised her right to vote for the second time in as many months.
