Sundown on Decision Day.
Great first day back in Wales. Woke early, looked out for a sunrise, looked grey and cloudy so went back to sleep.
As we had already sent off our postal votes we didn't need to go and vote. So after a leisurely breakfast l had a mooch about the caravan Saw that the planters and tubs had all done well after being left on there own for a few weeks though one or two petunias had been eaten by slugs.
We then walked into Abersoch along the beach, quiet except for a few teenagers who looked as if they had finished exams. A few couples with dogs and some mums with babies. How that will change in a month or so!
Had a coffee in town and Mr P bought a new cap. I resisted the sales! Walking back to Sarn Bach we saw a massive jellyfish which l showed on fb.
Back at the caravan and Mr P went for a run and l drove to the supermarket in Pwllheli, where in addition to buying fresh fruit and veg l purchased two new pillows and some more bedding plants to feed the slugs!
After dinner we went to the cliffs at Porth Neigel and watched the sun go down. After a glorious clear and sunny day it had turned cloudy and l wasn't sure if we'd get a good one but at the last minute it cleared and we weren't disappointed.
On this day that we decide if we stay in the EU or not it seemed fitting to watch the sun come down just before 10pm when the polling stations closed and the count began.
We are told we won't know the result until tomorrow morning but knowing us we will get engrossed in the TV coverage and won't be going to bed till the wee small hours. Fingers crossed x
