Every couple of months I meet with Bishop Stephen and representatives from the Diocese, Social Services and the Police to review our Safeguarding policy and practice. The group is chaired by Sir Roger Singleton, a high-powered, down to earth, practical and hugely respected figure in all things safeguarding. I have learned so much from this gentleman, whose wisdom grace, common sense and insight have helped steer us to a much better place. I'm very, very grateful for such people.
