This wine is so-o goo-ood !

The rain pelted down all night with thunder & lightning & I never stirred ....had a lie in this morning as the forecast was bad. However it had stopped raining by 11 am. A lazy morning as we had decided not to go anywhere except the pub at Leeds Village where we met Jo & David who live in Maidstone. Carol & Jo have been friends since school & it is always a hoot when they meet up.

We met at 2 pm & left the pub at 6 pm after a good catch-up - bear in mind that C & J had met on Tuesday at Ashford Designer Outlet where they shopped til they dropped.

Torrential rain on the return journey - the roads were flooded in places with lots of standing water.

Its now 8 pm and it is a lovely evening
