Tourists for the day

Today we headed to Edinburgh with our Seattle visitors & my parents to have a day sight seeing. We parked next to Holyrood Park and walked round Salisbury Crags, past Holyrood Palace & up the Royal Mile. Although I lived in Edinburgh for five years, it was a real treat to visit with people visiting for the first time & to see it with new eyes. We headed down Victoria Street to the Grassmarket where we had a meal then walked back to the car via the university. A really fantastic day with Jenny & Doug who are pictured here. From there we headed our separate ways, Mum, Dad, Jenny & Doug back home to the west & we headed south.
