On the Farm Road

While going around the Farm Road today we saw these two horses in the field (top photo).  We wondered why one had a coat on as it was very warm, thought perhaps he had just been ridden.

As we were discussing it a horse was led out of the lane (bottom photo) and so we stopped and the HG asked the young girl in charge why one of the horses had a coat on  especially on such a lovely day.  And it was because he had a thin coat, and it was to protect him from insects!!!!  You learn something every day!

Beautifully warm and sunny today.......

Voted in the European Union Referendum today.  Difficult choice!   In, out, in, out, shake it all about.......but this is serious!
