Peaceful Spot

Another day, another garden visit.  This time it was to Glen House near Traquair which is near Innerleithen which is near Peebles which is not from us.  It is a grand place much frequented by Princess Margaret apparently but no-one talk about that.

As well as the grandeur of large lawns and its topiary, colourful herbaceous beds and some sumptuous roses, there was a small area with a pool.  And in the pool was a single gorgeous water lily just opening up.  Nearby there was a good place to just sit and take it all in.
