Oslo......

after Tromso we had to fly back via Oslo in any case and so we stopped over for three nights and I'm glad we did.  Although it was tipping with rain the evening we arrived, the next day dawned fair although windy.  I think the weather is much like the UK, changeable ;)  The next couple of days were beautifully warm and sunny and we had a lovely stay.  This picture shows the little summer houses along the shoreline.  We took a mini tour of the fjords but it's really only a couple of hours around the harbour, there's much more to see than we had time for.  The additional picture shows Oslo's new opera house which we walked up.
