Parent paparazzi
At the Beaverton International Festival today there was a performance of small children doing Bharata Natyam dances, and for every child on the stage, there were one or two parents, several grandparents, a bevy of aunties and uncles, and a conflagration of cousins, all with their digital cameras trained on the performance. The guy in the middle is thinking, "The lighting here is impossible! All I'm gonna get is sun flare and silhouettes."
It was a pleasure to be in Beaverton for merely social reasons. The last time I was there I was facing off against the police state.
