Picnic in the Rain

It has been raining here in Blenheim. I met my good friend Dawn for lunch today. We ate in comfort and warmth at the Raupo Cafe on the riverbank of Riverside Park in downtown Blenheim.
I felt sorry for these two young men who were picnicking on the steps leading down to the Taylor River. They had a little stove going to heat their food. They looked rather miserable sitting there in the drizzle on a cold wet day.
