Olympic cake

Another hot day with storms coming through in the afternoon - quite a number of people lost power, but fortunately we kept ours. We had friends over this evening for coffee and dessert, and to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony from London. I tried a new recipe - Rich chocolate cake with Creamy Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Frosting - it was really good! I just tried not to think about the number of calories! It was sort of a last minute thought to add the Olympic rings - but I was quite pleased with how it turned out! I thought the Opening ceremony was great - just loved the segment with James Bond and the Queen and Rowan Atkinson and Chariots of Fire! Let the games begin!
