We don't have funnel web spiders in the UK - instead we have the charming Labyrinth spider who just happens to build labyrinths of web that look awfully like funnels.

This is a good time to see them - specially on gorse bushes, hiding down their funnels - er I mean labyrinths - waiting for the unwary fly to come a calling
