Lazy morning, cooked breakfast, quick run around the house to collect stuff - Daily Post is off to India tomorrow - bliptastic!

Instead of a boring picture of my suitcase, on behalf of Mrs Blip here is our new eco-weapon - a hessian plastic bag replacement! Had them a few weeks now and take great pleasure in carrying them at all the big supermarkets (we're supermarket sl*gs really - no loyalty to any of them!). Even used them in town yesterday - bought things in 5-6 shops and each time told the bemused cashiers that we didn't need a bag, getting odd looks like we'd just arrived from Mars.

It feels almost naughty and subversive using them, but if it gets just one person using long-life or cloth bags instead of those awful plastic ones then they're worth it. Mrs Blip has her own environment blog here - she's not quite Swampy yet or knitting her own tofu, but passionate and committed to green issues.
