An Exciting Day

Guinea Pigs are social little animals and they don't thrive if they have to live alone. Tea has been living alone for a short while, so after work today I drove to the nearest animal shelter to find her a new friend. 

I found a lovely little Guinea Pig girl - about 1½ mth old. I call her Coffee - I think that is a suitable name for Tea's friend :-)

Tea has been so good with her and it has been a very happy first meeting. It is lovely to see them together. 

Helle lives near the shelter, so I met with her for a dog walk too. We walked around a lake and the dogs swam and played and had a great time. 

All in all a very good day and I will let you all meet little Coffee tomorrow.
