Flower Friday?

I don't know how to join in the Flower Friday challenge, but it just happens that the only photo I took today was of this hibiscus, outside our neighbour's house.
 
Otherwise, it was a day of playing catch up and wrapping up warm – now that El Ninho has been and gone, Rio is having a proper winter, and there’s quite an edge to the wind. OK, the temperatures don’t compare to those in Europe, the US and elsewhere, but we’re a delicate lot over here – and the houses aren’t heated. It’s out with the sweaters, jackets and boots – a good excuse for fashion-conscious cariocas to display their winter wardrobe.
