Botanical Luxuriance

The small island of La Gomera has interesting microclimates, or so we are told.  We should discover more tomorrow when we are due to go on a round the island trip.  We are staying at a property on the south coast of the island where the climate is warm and dry and allows for the growth of some wonderful botanical specimens, some of which are in the botanical gardens they are cultivating - part of our current back garden!  I thought you might like to see some of them.

Very hot again today so we walked down and back up a very steep path down to the local village and then have sat by the pool, been for a swim done some reading, started to relax...  Wish you could all be here too!
