Dear old friends
Got together for big drinks and a fun dinner with some friends that go back over thirty years. T, with the white hair was a co-worker from early on in my career and for many years we job-shared. She moved back to Walla Walla Washington many years ago, so we only see each other infrequently. R, is her good friend, and I usually see her when T is in town. But now that R is also retired, I'm hoping to see more of her. Always a fun time with these two - the conversation doesn't stop.
“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
