In Full Sail

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a short walk. We went along to the ferry terminal and came back through town. A little further today.

Once Maeve was back home and settled I went for a walk. Mark Knopfler (the soundtrack to Local Hero) and Jethro Tull (Broadsword and the Beast) on the iPod Mini. I went across the park and set off out Low Askomill to the old shipyard then carried out along the North shore path going past Baraskomel farm and almost as far as Macringan's point before turning to come back. I went far enough to get a good view of the hills on Arran. There were fishing boats and yachts in the channel between the shore and Davaar island and out in Kilbrannan sound. One small yacht was in full sail as it headed out to sea.

Cormorants.
Gulls.
Lots of Crows.
