Progress report...

Here's a lesson for life!   Never stand on a newly laid paver before the underlying concrete has dried.    It produces a degree of irritation in the workman.

Ah well, almost done with the campaigning.   It will be a relief to have that over.   Seriously, I have only ever met one convinced "leaver".    And yet the polls say neck-and-neck.     Obviously my social horizons are too narrow.    Or it may just be that Rotarians, and blippers, and the generality of Peebleans are a refined class.        I earnestly hope for Remain - nationalism and xenophobia never came to good.   We can surely sort out immigration problems without destroying ourselves in the process.
