The best day ever

Poor little P couldn't do sports day today because of her arm. I was gutted to begin with but the school have been fantastic and invited her to attend the awards ceremony for their recent Bronze Food for Life award. There was only her, two teachers and another little girl (who has a broken leg) that went. P had a fantastic time. There were loads of activities for the children to do and P accompanied her teacher on stage to collect their certificate.

Whilst she was away G&G popped round to help me put together her new big girl bed. I didn't tell P we had it and when she got home I told her to go straight upstairs to get changed. Her face was a picture! She asked how I had managed to do it all (build bed and tidy bedroom!) in one day and then exclaimed that "this is the best day ever!!
