Duncarron Fort

SWMBO and I headed over to Duncarron Medieval Fort for their open day (there is another one tomorrow if you are interested).

It is a very interesting place being built by a very interesting 'tribe' - I am sure the lead characters in the new cartoon film 'Brave' are based on the husband and wife who formed and lead the 'tribe'.

There were all sorts of demonstrations (some can be seen here) and the chance to have a go at archery, axe throwing, stonemasonary.

Some of the guys are also the group Saor Patrol who of course were playing ......... brilliant and so atmospheric inside the fort.
