Kayak day

Should have been titled dumb things I have done . Went out at 6 pm and foolishly decided to take the second landing. Mind you it is only 8 ish miles but there was no current to speak of as the river is pretty low and we have to take one car to the landing and go back with the second to the start and then reverse order going home .... And we're not as young as we think we are....So we just got to car no1 at 8:40,just got car 2 out of the park before the gates were locked and home at 9:30. Oh well saw a green heron! First of the season!
