Let's Play Ball!!! Go Blue Jays...

After having 30 celcius at 10 pm last night, it cooled off to 16 this morning. A much more bearable day today, with a high of 25. The roof was open at Rogers Stadium and it was perfect weather. We met my maid of honour and her family for dinner at a sports pub right on Lake Ontario and gave them a quick tour of the downtown and then we all went to the baseball game. They live in Hawaii and had never been to Toronto so are enjoying playing tourists. They did Niagara Falls yesterday and are heading to Montreal and Quebec City next for a total of 12 days in Ontario. It was fabulous to see them again, such great people! Heading home now on the commuter train just after the 5th inning against Arizona Diamondbacks, we left with the Toronto Blue Jays down one run. Hopefully by the time we get home we will be winning!
