Spikes?

Trip to mum this morning - had a call yesterday to say she was not too good, very sleepy, not eating (but drinking ok) and just generally out of character; she perked up later in the day. Mum alert and sitting in the lounge drinking tea and having a biscuit. Back in her room she tapped her foot to the music and happily ate some chocolate buttons. I gave her a kiss on the nose, she looked at me and smiled and said "bit lower"! Big kiss on the lips did the trick.

Next stop the garden centre to pick up some lovely flowers for my best friend. Trip down the motorway to spend the afternoon with my "bestie" catching up over the past 6 months. Lovely catch up - we can talk for hours ..... :)

Home - tea ready, then a Skype session with our daughter.
