American Kestrel

Two American kestrel (our smallest falcon) were hunting above two large trees on the east side of the grounds of Traughber Junior High School in Oswego, Illinois. The kestrel seemed to be working together, hovering above one tree then the other tree and calling to each other. When they finished hunting each bird appeared to be successful in securing a meal.
