Norwich Cathedral

At lunchtime I wandered around hoping to be inspired by something I hadn't spotted in Norwich before now. However, shopping for a birthday present for a 13 year old girl, plus the need to return to work by 2pm got in the way rather, and left me without a picture. The city was busy with people (slow ones tended to be in front of me) plus road works encroaching on pedestrian areas. I will try harder tomorrow lunchtime!

Work was busy as usual, and I have a long list of things I want to do this week. I left at 4.25 though, and when the bus arrived I looked up and saw the front seat at the top was vacant. So I took it with a view to capturing something blipable. What better than this lovely archway, entrance to the Cathedral from Tombland. Not a bad photo as we were moving at the time!

I got home at 5.30 where Mollie was busily making a lasagne for dinner. I think my diet has gone by the wayside! It was very tasty. While she did this, I cleaned out the chickens house. They all made brief attempts to escape to the lush green of my garden while the gate was open.

My hay fever came on this evening after my spell in the garden, so Mollie & I drove to Sheringham where I bought some beconase in Tesco. Jon and Dan arrived back at 7.30 as we were heading out. They had the trailer with them, plus a cement mixer borrowed from a friend tied securely onto it. Tomorrow is the first delivery day and cementing if all goes to plan.

I seem to have whiled away the last hour on the computer, doing nothing constructive. Tomorrow I hope to start pinning my dress together, if there is space on the table. Apologies for the late blip. Now I'm off to bed!
