Silver medal for Colombia

Today we did the tea for Mr Spoon's cricket club. Lots of sandwiches and this delicious chocolate cake (we did not try it). All went well thanks to John Robert, who drove me down to the cricket pitch. Cheers Dad!!

What a surprise when I came home to watch the Olympics and I saw Rigoberto Uran, a Colombian cyclist, came second in the cycling road competion today. Well done. Colombians are very happy.

Hoy hicimos el te para el club de cricket del Sr Cuchara. Muchos sandwiches y esta deliciosa torta de chocolate (no la probamos). Todo salio muy bien gracias al Juan Ronerto, mi suegro. Gracias!!

Cual fue mi sorpresa cuando volvi a la casa para ver los Olimpicos y vi a Rigoberto Uran, un ciclista colombiano, llegar de segundo en la carrera de ciclismo de ruta. Bien hecho. Los Colombianos estamos muy contentos.
