Flown the nest

When we came back from holiday mum and dad Bluetit were still feeding the young ones in the box and I could hear them chirping away in the nest as mum and dad seemed to be calling for them at the nearby tree as if trying to coax them out..... before heading in with their food.

Well over the last few days I'd noticed it had went very quiet, so today I decided to have a peek inside....

And we now have an empty nest.

Hoping they come back next year and we have another little brood.
