Field of barley

We walked around this field under cloudy skies this morning, but by the end of our walk the sun had come out and this afternoon the temperature shot up to 30 degrees! It's a bit hot for painting shutters, which is what I'm doing at the moment, so I had to wait until the sun moved off the front of the house!
