~Cactus In A Clay Pot~

~And Mornings First Sunbeam~

This is one of my potted cacti, waiting to be planted in the yard.
I find that they have a better survival rate if I pot them before planting.
I like to acclimate them to their surrounding first, altitude, climate, etc.
Also they need to be consistently oriented to a point of the compass.
A cactus should have the same side facing south, from pot to ground.
Because the side that gets the most sun learns to tolerate it better.
If you switch it's orientation it will burn, whither and eventually die.
A person who allows a cactus to die is generally made fun of.
This is because people think that it's really hard to kill one of them.
Actually, it's quite easy to send one to the big desert in the sky.
Like any living thing, tender loving care is a recipe for a happy life.

Thanks for visiting me and my yard today.
See you tomorrow, have a great Sunday.
