A Day Off

All of Mabel's toys are having a rare day off today.  Her current favourite is this blue duck, which was a gift from her "Auntie Ellen".  It's awfully quiet around here, because our poor little puppy was carted off to the vet's office early this morning to be spayed.  She was not a bit pleased that no breakfast was served!

She will spend the night in the hospital, and we can pick her up tomorrow morning.  She will not be allowed to play, run free, or jump around for two weeks until her stitches are healed.  That's going to be quite a challenge!
