Our Garden Pond

This morning Mrs GOG and I visited our dentist for a routine check-up, returning home just before midday.  Although it was sunny, with about 90% cloud cover, my hay fever was playing up, suggesting that the plants had released pollen in anticipation of rain.  We decided to have an early lunch so that I could see what the weather was going to do as I intended to use the ride-on mower to mow the lawn.  After lunch I went out to the shed to collect the mower, only to discover that it was standing in the middle of a very large puddle of oil, having developed a very serious oil leak.  It was going to take me several hours just to clear up the mess, so still not being sure how long a dry spell I had got I decided to leave it until one day next week when there is a whole dry day.  Today’s blip is of the garden pond.
