Hanging baskets outside the Duke of Wellington pub
Spent a happy hour walking around the oldest parts of Southampton today. This is the Duke of Wellington pub, on Bugle Street, and there has been an inn on this site since the 13th century and parts of the building still date from that time.
Extra blip is the end of Blue Anchor Lane which shows on medieval maps of Southampton. In those days through this arch was the sea. As you can see the land has been reclaimed and the building in the background is a five star hotel
