Salford Quay

Huge clouds trawled over Manchester today and threw rain down at the street in blurry, messy spells. The sun became so bleached out that it gave the cityscape a yellow background (this shot is in colour) and the heavy clouds framed the picture. And, as the rain filled the streets, they emptied, leaving an eerie, post-apocalyptic atosphere.
