Pelle Svanslös

I went to Uppsala with my friend and had a chance to see Pelle Svanslös, my child hood hero. He is a character from Gösta Knutssons`s children`s books. The stories take place in Uppsala so when I knew I was going there, I wanted to see Pelle`s house. It was a big children`s play ground. We had loads of fun even though the house and the exhibitions were probably planned for a bit younger guests... We also wisited Uppsala Art museum and the cathedral so it wasn`t just a playground trip.

In the evening we had a celebration here in Stockholm. 6th of December is the national day of Finland. Living here in Sweden I`ve realised how Finnish I really am, what it means to me and how great country/culture it is with all it`s faults. Happy 91st anniversary F!
