Football at Isubilo with another local team. This involved bare feet, one girl with just one shoe on, on her kicking foot, hot African sun, lots of cheering, chats and cuddles with the kids and then nshima with the kids for the last time.
Leaving the kids and my friends there today was hard.
I'm not going to lie, tears came into my eyes and I had to wear my sunglasses to hide my face. It's been a week of goodbyes, and because I don't know the next time I will be back with my friends here in Zambia, it's been tough.
The people here at Isubilo have a massive space in my heart as I have grown to know them over the past 3 years. These particular ladies are like my Zambian sisters and today we enjoyed giggles and pictures before goodbyes were said.
Been out to hang out with Kristie, Elizabeth and a few others tonight for a delicious lasagne, thanks Kristie and enjoyed singing classic songs and having English/American/Canadian banter. Hannah you were missed, there is no doubt!
Today, despite being emotional, I have felt Gods hand in so many things. I feel ready to leave Zambia but have yet to start packing!
Thats now my task!
