Dead Tree

This home is around the corner from my own.  The dead tree was a fully leaved, living shade maker just a few months ago.  I don't know for sure but I wonder if it wasn't struck by lightning.  I feel sorry for the homeowner, they always keep their place looking very nice..  The power lines probably have something to do with the fact that the tree is still there.
