Lone walk ...

Because of sharing the wait for a delivery that never happened, I went for a lone walk round the West Bay this afternoon. It's a walk I've done so often, usually more for exercise than pleasure, that I don't tend to look at my surroundings, but was taken suddenly by a desire to go down the beach to the water's edge - something I really associate with having young children to entertain. The sun was shining on the water nearby, but over the hills the sky was dark and threatening, and I thought it looked quite dramatic.
