M8 CarPark

After Ethan's football class, we decided to drive over to Beith to visit Granny and Grandpa for Fathers Day. I forgot about the roadworks on the M8 though so it was a frustratingly slow journey over there!

The journey home wasn't much better. I came along the M74 route as Grandpa claims it's quicker. Came off the wrong slip road (1/4 mile too early) and the on slip was closed due to more roadworks. So had to go several miles back the way we'd just come before being able to turn back the other way. Ten minutes later, trying to get back on the M8, more roadworks confused me, ended up in the wrong lane ... now heading west again but on M8 this time instead of east on M8! Aasaargh! Finally got Ethan home around 9pm! So much for reasonable bedtimes on school nights!
