Summertime

So, today is the first day of Summer....what a wet start it was. The rain was bouncing off the pavement first thing, although it did improve throughout the day. I hope the change is for good now. It is the longest day....so the shortest night! I'd better get to bed and have a short sleep, then a long lie in and then start all over again as the days count down to Winter. 

We finished early tonight and everyone loaded up the lorry very quickly...I think they wanted to watch some football match or something that was going on tonight. The roads were quiet and I was home in no time at all.

It is a busy week as I'm on an extra day tomorrow....money, money, money for my holiday :))
