The Great British Summer
Our horrible weather continues to depress everyone with rain and heavy cloud spoiling every outdoor event this year so far. The Summer solstice on the 20th June marks the beginning of Summer and yet it's not even been warm rain today. It's meant to be a strawberry moon tonight which heralds the start of the strawberry picking season.
Tonight was also our camera club barbecue. Inside the pub meant sharing the pub with some loud football game or other, and outside was just damp and dismal. The food didn't exactly look appetising, so we made our excuses and left. Am I turning into Victor Meldrew? Maybe. But... I don't believe it!
