Monomonday 126 'Something that annoys you...'
Goodness this week's challenge is, well, really quite challenging. Where to start? Or possibly where to stop?
There are so many levels of annoyance; one can be anything from mildly irritated, through feeling cross, or angry to being downright furious and enraged!
I was irritated by the fact that so many options for today would be difficult to portray in a photograph. I've gone with the first thing that annoyed me today, which was waking up YET AGAIN to heavy pouring rain on our longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice. Thus you see our lovely newly refurbished patio ( definitely NOT annoying) deserted, and deluged. The day did eventually redeem itself and I have included as an extra the beautiful blue sky that appeared late afternoon.
So what really gets my goat? Lots of little things that I've seen here posted already; washing up not done, junk mail, toothpaste tubes squeezed in the middle, radios played loudly outdoors...but one can deal with those. I suppose what really makes me angry is Injustice, wherever, or whenever that might occur, in whatever shape or form it might take.
If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality

In other news: we are rapidly approaching, here in the UK, the day of the Referendum, when we are invited to choose whether or not we wish to remain as a member of the EU. There is plenty to watch, read and listen to in all forms of media: BBC Radio 4 has kindly taken to playing the following song to warn us before it embarks on any Referendum based programme:
Whether you want to stay or go, you've got to love this track!
