Summer Solstice...

... Is today and I just couldn't resist snapping some blue sky on the way back from Aqua.

We woke to grey, dismal and heavy rain which lasted into early afternoon. But as you can see it cleared to leave a lovely evening. June has been a complete washout and I really would like to see summer return and stay for a good while!!

The solstice also falls on a 'strawberry moon' that happens about every 70 years!
