Canopy

My Dear Fellow,

Wouldn't it be nice to just lie under this canopy of leaves, enjoying a picnic?

Well no, actually, because the tree is on an estate overhanging a street. That's just a STUPID idea. Honestly.

Nevertheless, I like the picture. I like leaves. And it was about the only blipworthy thing of the day. I was going to take a picture of the elephant sculpture in Charlotte Square but some stupid tourist was sitting on it and would probably have wondered why I was taking a picture of their @rse.

And the clouds were fluffy and interesting. But there was too much foot-traffic and by the time it had passed, the clouds had moved on.

So that was Monday. Full of pictures I didn't take and picnics I did not have. But there's always Tuesday.
