Wild Orchid

This little orchid was growing just behind the sturdy, wire fence surrounding the nature reserve in the Heritage Park.  Sadly the reserve is not usually open to the general public .... many of the water birds nest there and their privacy needs to be respected!

On my first circuit of the loch I stopped too many times to take photographs so for my second circuit I put the camera back in the car and walked round without stopping .... better exercise for me but not so much fun!
