Cardoon, not an artichoke

The cardoon (Cynara cardunculus), also called the artichoke thistle, cardone, cardoni, carduni or cardi, is a thistle-like plant in the aster family Asteraceae. It is the naturally occurring form of the same species as the globe artichoke, and has many cultivated varieties. I swore I wouldn't post flowers two days in a row, so I'm calling this a silhouette rather than a flower photo. I got a little feedback from 19Mart77 last time I attempted one. I think this is an improvement.
