Who will rid me of this troublesome priest?

It is a well know fact that Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury, was murdered by servants of King Henry ll in Canterbury Cathedral. In the cathedral a single candle is lit to mark the spot where the shrine to Thomas was before it was destroyed on the orders of King Henry Vlll in1538 during the dissolution of the monasteries.
It is interesting to note in this week of the EU referendum - go or stay - migrants or no, that both of Thomas a Becket's parents were French
