Father, dear Father

Father Rod Bower is the Anglican parish priest at my hometown church. He is a passionate speaker and advocate for those seeking asylum. He is also known for his controversial billboards.

He was down in Melbourne to speak at a "Friends of Refugees" award night and I bumped into him as he was heading for the loo before it started!

We had a great chat after the ceremony and I asked him to say hi to my mum next Sunday and to tell her I looked like I had lost weight (lie basically!)
