The Vows

At my niece's wedding today in Newcastle.

The wedding was held in the Tyneside Cinema (where they had their first date), a 1930's Art Deco cinema that has been restored. There was even popcorn after the ceremony.

The wedding breakfast was on the 6th floor of the Baltic centre for contemporary art, with fabulous views over the city, and the meal was exceptional.

Then it was down to the Riverside Terrace for the evening 'do'. 

I had to do the "Dad dancing" bit - well, there has to be an embarrassing uncle at all weddings! 

Grandson #1 pulled - he well and truly got the attention of a little girl of about the same age (she chose him from a field of one!), but he just wanted to get on dancing on his own!
